The short version

We don't use advertising trackers, we don't sell data, and browsing kitproof doesn't require an account.

What we collect

• Browsing: our hosting provider (Google Firebase) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, pages requested, and browser type, for security and reliability.
• Newsletter (if you subscribe): your email address, stored by our newsletter provider, used only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Purchases: handled by our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy), which collects the payment and billing details needed for the sale. We receive your name, email, and order details, not your card number.
• Emails you send us: kept so we can reply and keep a record of corrections.

Data about kits

Kit evidence comes from public sources: public repositories, package registries, and vendors' public web pages, which we read politely and in line with each site's robots.txt. Where these sources include maintainers' public usernames, we show them only as part of public project activity.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers above, to run the site and process purchases, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@kitproof.dev.
